The main theme of my work revolves around my hometown, Beniel. To illustrate it, I take as a reference the surroundings that surround it, the orchard; I am inspired by its smell, its color, and its sounds. Pieces like this one are a tribute to my family; in the illustrations, you can see my grandfather, my grandmother, my sister, my brother, my mother, and my two best friends. Additionally, you can see buildings and landscapes that are in my town. «La Casa Miguelin,» «El Serena» the barbershop where the grandparents go, the church, or the Plaza. Another tradition of hot summer nights is the ladies sitting at the entrances of their houses to stay cool and talk to their neighbors; we call it «Estar a la fresca.»

El tema principal de mi obra gira en torno al pueblo en el que nací, Beniel. Para ilustrar tomo como referencia el entorno que lo rodea, la huerta, me inspiran su olor, su color y sus sonidos. Las piezas como esta son un homenaje a mi familia, en las ilustraciones pueden aparecer mi abuelo, mi abuela,  mi hermana, mi hermano, mi madre y mis dos mejores amigas. Además puedes ver edificios y paisajes que están en mi pueblo. “La Casa Miguelin”, “El Serena” la barbería donde van los abuelos, la iglesia o la Plaza del pueblo. Otra tradición de las noches calurosas de verano son las señoras en las entradas de sus casas para estar frescas y hablar con sus vecinas, nosotros lo llamamos “Estar a la fresca”.
